It is being said that rents are pretty high in China and a man found a pretty unique way to save his rent. A strange incident came to light in China when it was found that a man was living secretly under the stairs of a mall for the last six months.
The incident took place in a Shanghai mall, though the identity of the concerned person hasn’t been disclosed yet it is being said that he is a student who is preparing for some exams. A leading Chinese daily shared the video of the Chinese man’s living arrangement and captioned it as, “A young man has been found living under the hidden stairs of a shopping mall in #Shanghai for over half a year without anyone knowing. An ergonomic chair, a tent, a table and a computer – he cleaned up the small place and even used an inverter to generate electricity.”

It is being said that this student was caught by a guard months back but he allowed him to stay there as the student told him that he needs a quiet place to study. However on October 30, another guard caught the student and arrested him as he was not interested in leaving him on the pretext of his excuse of finding a quiet place to study.
Well, Shanghai is one of the most expensive cities of the world, as per a study it was ranked 12th in the list of the most expensive cities.
