Once again, the whole country has been ashamed by a horrific incident in which a 15-yr girl from Jind, Haryana, has been gang-raped, murdered and her private parts were mutilated.
The girl was a student of class 10 and her body was recovered on Friday night from a water body in Budhakhera village, 100 km away from Jind. The girl was missing from January 9 and her body was found with no clothes in the bottom part and upper body was covered with a torn shirt.
As per Jind cops,
“The doctors have confirmed that the minor was murdered 24-48 hours back. We are investigating the matter and have also formed special SIT’s for the same.”
Abhishek Garg, Kurukshetra superintendent of police, told ANI,
“The police have detained some people suspecting their involvement but the main accused is still at large. We are conducting raids to arrest him.”
As per the post-mortem report, the liver of the girl was ripped apart. Dr SK Dattarwal, head of the forensics department at PGIMS Rohtak, said,
“The body had several injuries, her private parts were mutilated; there were lot of internal injuries too. Signs of sexual assault are visible and looks like three-four people were responsible, a hard and blunt thing was inserted inside her, signs of drowning also found.”
Dr SK Dhattarwal told Hindustan Times,
“The victim had injuries on her face and inside the mouth, suggesting that she was kidnapped by multiple persons who prevented her from making noise. The autopsy suggests this was an act of frustration. All the damage to her private parts seems to have been done after she was drowned and murdered. This was the work of more than one person who failed to sexually assault the victim while she was alive.”
As per the father of the girl,
“My daughter was kidnapped and raped. She was tortured. If administration had done its job well, an incident like this would have never happened.”
The father told Hindustan Times,
“My daughter was killed brutally, I want justice for her. I cannot fight a long battle for justice but I appeal to the police to send her criminals behind the bars.”
A class 12 student is the prime suspect in the rape case and his name is not disclosed.
The police is looking for a 20-yr old boy whose photo was found in the locket which was wrapped around the neck of the victim.
This case reminds us of Nirbhaya who was brutally gang-raped in Delhi and later succumbed to her injuries. Humanity died a brutal death again!
