R Madhavan is certainly one of the finest actors of the Indian movie industry. Undeniably, he has mostly worked in southern language films but whatever roles he has played in the Hindi flicks, he has made them memorable with his marvelous acting.

He featured in TV commercials and serials before working in movies and his Hindi flick “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” was loved a lot by audiences, especially youngsters. People loved his chemistry with Dia Mirza and the music of the movie is still loved by his fans.

Maddy, as his fans lovingly call him, has worked in few Hindi films and in some of them, he has played small roles including “Rang De Basanti” (2006) in which he worked with Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and others. The trio of Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi once again came together for Rajkumar Hirani directed “3 Idiots” which got released in 2009. The movie was a big hit, Aamir played the character of Rancho which was inspired by real-life character Sonam Wangchuk, R Madhavan portrayed the character of Farhan and Sharman played the role of Raju in the movie which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female lead.

Nowadays a video of R Madhavan is going viral in which the “Rocketry” actor is seen giving audition for the role of Farhan. His acting is so impeccable and soulful that we are sure anybody else would have done this role better than him.
