Salman Khan starrer “Race 3” was among the most anticipated movies of the year in view of the fact that it was scheduled to release on Eid and needless to say, Salman’s movies on Eid obviously add to the celebrations of his fans and make the festival more enjoyable. Glitzy star cast and big production house are among the other reasons that set the standard of the flick very high.
However, when it finally hit theatres, audience was left highly disappointed with the story, screenplay, content and performances that badly failed to create a good impression on viewers.
Nevertheless, this all did not seem to have any adverse effect on the collections of the flick as the movie minted Rs 29.17 crore on its opening day and became the biggest opener of the year. This was creditable on the part of the film to earn this whopping amount despite the fact that its business was affected by pre-Eid release.
The second day collections of “Race 3” are also out and the movie made huge earnings of Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday, making the total collections Rs 67.31 crore.

The figures are indeed awesome on the second day and are expected to get bigger on Sunday, i.e., the first weekend, and experts are of the opinion that “Race 3” will make it to 100 crore club on its third day only. Let’s wait and watch!
