Sushma Swaraj Slammed Pakistan In UN Speech. PM Modi Couldn’t Stop Appreciating Her On Twitter

All world leaders came together at the 72nd UN General Assembly in New York. We have seen brilliant statements from everyone. Even Eenam Gambhir was seen giving a mouth-shutting reply to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Prime Minister of Pakistan who said that India indulges in terrorist activities.

Gambhir got praises & appreciation from one and all. When we are talking about strong replies, how can be forget our External Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj? Well, even she filled our hearts with pride with her thoughtful and logical words.

When she addressed the speech on 23rd of September, she talked about the connection of Pakistan with terrorism, poverty and also climate change. Well, she gave it back to them and explained how both the nations totally differ from each other.

In her words,

“We (India) are engaged in fighting poverty, while our neighbour Pakistan is engaged in fighting us. We [India] made IITs, IIMs, AIIMS. But Pakistan, what did you make? Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Haqqani network”

She couldn’t tolerate how Pakistan accused India of terrorism. She further added,

“The country that has caused the death of so many innocents is trying to teach us about humanity.India and Pakistan won freedom at the same time. But has Pakistan asked itself why India is perceived as the IT superpower of the world, and Pakistan as the pre-eminent export factory of terror. India has risen despite Pakistan’s nefarious export of terrorism. We have been a sustained democracy. PM Narendra Modi has offered the hand of peace and friendship. Pakistan’s Prime Minister must answer why his nation spurned this offer.”

Seeing her strong speech, PM Modi couldn’t stop himself from appreciating Sushma Swaraj. He left a series of tweets to praise her.

“A strong message was given by @SushmaSwaraj Ji on the dangers of terrorism and why we have to unite and fight this menace”

“EAM @SushmaSwaraj was insightful in identifying global challenges & strongly reiterated India’s commitment to create a better planet. #UNGA”

“Incredible speech by EAM @SushmaSwaraj at the @UN! She has made India extremely proud at the world stage. #UNGA”

Proud of Sushma Swaraj! Loved the way she has answered the enemy nation.
