Sameera Reddy’s post comes at a time when conversations around body-shaming and online trolling continue to gain attention.

Recently, Salman Khan also spoke about online trolling and paparazzi culture during the “Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar” episode. He criticised people for targeting others based on their age, weight, looks, family background, smiles, career setbacks or experiences of motherhood.

The ‘Sultan’ actor also questioned the practice of trolling people simply because they have aged or their appearance has changed. He pointed out that such comments say more about the person making them than the person being targeted.

Salman Khan further addressed trolling of women during pregnancy, saying that weight gain during pregnancy is natural and that women should not be criticised for it. He also mentioned that a woman may choose to step away from work temporarily to spend time with her family before returning to films. He also urged the paparazzi to avoid photographing actresses in inappropriate or objectionable ways.

We certainly agree with both Sameera Reddy and Salman Khan, what about you?
