For years, one of the biggest rumours surrounding Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan’s divorce was that she had received ₹400 crore as alimony. The claim has been widely discussed online ever since the couple parted ways. However, Sussanne’s sister, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, has now firmly denied the reports, calling them completely false and revealing that Sussanne did not take any money from Hrithik after their separation.

Speaking in a recent interview, Farah dismissed the long-standing speculation and said the divorce between Hrithik and Sussanne was handled with mutual respect and understanding. She recalled that their separation became a major topic of discussion across the country, with many people expressing opinions about their personal lives. Despite the intense public attention, she said both Hrithik and Sussanne dealt with the situation gracefully and ensured that the process remained amicable.
Addressing the alimony rumours, Farah said there was never any truth to the reports claiming that ₹400 crore had changed hands. She added that it upsets her to see people continue to spread the claim online, saying it falsely portrays Sussanne as someone who benefited financially from the divorce.

Farah further revealed that Sussanne chose not to seek any financial settlement from Hrithik. According to her, the values instilled by their family placed relationships above material possessions. She said that the decision has helped Sussanne maintain a warm and respectful bond not only with Hrithik but also with his parents, Pinkie Roshan and Rakesh Roshan. Farah described her sister as graceful and dignified, adding that it is unfair to label her based on false rumours. She also praised Hrithik, saying that while their marriage did not work out, there was no reason for unnecessary speculation or sensationalism surrounding their separation.
Farah also shared that after the couple’s divorce was finalised in 2014, she had repeatedly encouraged Sussanne to publicly deny the rumours. However, Sussanne decided against responding. According to Farah, her sister believed that public opinion did not define her and that there was no need to address every false claim circulating online. She preferred to move forward with her life rather than engage with baseless speculation.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan share a long history together. The two had known each other since childhood before getting married in December 2000, shortly after the blockbuster success of Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. During their marriage, they welcomed two sons — Hrehaan in 2006 and Hridhaan in 2008.
The couple announced their separation in 2013 and officially divorced in 2014. Despite ending their marriage, they have continued to share a cordial relationship over the years. Hrithik and Sussanne are often seen together while co-parenting their sons and celebrating important family occasions, showing that even after their divorce, they have maintained mutual respect and a strong friendship.
