“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, the Bollywood movie which released in 2011 enjoys a huge fan following as this road comedy drama deals with the issues of friendship and relationship, something with which youngsters feel connected instantly.
The movie was directed by Zoya Akhtar and her brother Farhan Akhtar not only co-produced it but he also played an important role in the movie.
Recently, Farhan Akhtar appeared in a podcast in which he was asked about the possibility of the sequel of “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. He said that the question is being asked to the wrong person as Zoya Akhtar should be questioned in this regard.
Here’s what Farhan Akhtar stated, “Aapko Zoya Akhtar se poochna chahiye. A 100% I’ll do it. I’ll give my left arm to do it. Hrithik, Katrina, Abhay, everybody has told Zoya to please think of something. In all fairness, she’s hoping for that penny to drop.”

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” was a story of three childhood friends played by Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar who go for a three-week trip after one of them gets engaged to his long time girlfriend. The three-week road trip bachelor party is organized in Spain and during the trip, each one of them picks an adventure sport in which all the three have to participate.
The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechin in important roles and during an old interview, when Zoya Akhtar was asked about ZNMD 2, she said that the discussion regarding the sequel comes up every time and every main actor is interested in it. She added that ZNMD means a lot to each of them so they won’t do the sequel until they find a soul for the second movie. Zoya added that they don’t want to do the sequel for money, the audience will come to watch the sequel with some expectations and those expectations should get fulfilled.
